The Green’s bounced back from their midweek FA Cup exit with an excellent performance which saw them twice come from behind before grabbing a winner 19 minutes from time. Mike Campbell gave the home side the lead after 10 minutes Stephane Ngamvoulou levelling things 15 minutes later. Hartley Wintney were back in front again 11 m minutes into the second half thanks to Jack Ball but goals from Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick and Laste Dombaxe completed a memorable comeback which takes Hendon to within a point of league leaders Weymouth.

Eion Casey‘s fourth goal of the season nine minutes from the end was enough to give The Scholars the points in a scrappy affair at The Pakex. Opportunities were at a premium all after noon Casey finally breaking the deadlock after substitute Billy Adcock’s shot was spilled by visiting keeper Lewis Carey.

HRB Sport is back on air this weekend to bring you full coverage of our local fixtures and the wider sporting action.

Hendon found the replay in their FA Cup tie with Lancing a great deal more comfortable than the home leg which ended 0-0. They ran out 4-0 victor’s in Sussex but their stay in the competition was short lived bowing out 4-1 at Chippenham Town on Wednesday night.

Barnet have drawn National League opponents in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round. The Bees will face Braintree at The Hive on 20th October; the teams drew 1-1 in the League back in August.
Borehamwood also have familiar Cup opponents in Dagenham & Redbridge who will be the visitors to Meadow Park.
