Two Manny Duku goals in the space of 50 first half seconds set up an excellent away day for John Still’s team. A mistake from keeper Mark Cousins led to the home sides opener after 10 minutes. Barnet equalised 15 minutes later when Dan Sweeney’s cross was finished off by a close range header from Manny Duku. Straight from the kick off Hartlepool gave the ball away allowing Duku to slip the ball past the stranded Scott Loach. The Dutch striker then departed proceedings on a stretcher with a knee injury. The Bees looked in command throughout the second period substitutes Byron Harrison and Josh Walker before Walker secured the points in injury time.
