Just 24 hours before taking on his old club Dagenham and Redbridge Barnet boss John Still has announced his retirement from football management. Only appointed in the summer Still moves upstairs with the team in 15th place in the National League table having won just one of their last four league games. A statement on the clubs website quotes the 68 year old as saying “I have managed in over 2,000 matches and had a fantastic time in the game to date. I look forward to embracing my new role and supporting my young protégé Darren Currie in his growth as a Coach.” Darren Currie will be in charge of the team for tomorrows visit to the Chigwell Construction Stadium.
