BARNET 0 Sutton United 1
The Bees made a disappointing return to league action against a well organised Sutton line-up. In a game of few chances James Dobson’s 36th minute free kick curled into the top right corner awarded after David Tutonda brought down Gime Toure proved the difference between the teams. Shaq Coulthirst and Wes Fonguck had Barnet’s best chances. Coulthirst putting his effort into the side netting after beating goalkeeper Ross Worner, Fonguck producing the best from the visiting keeper who pushed his goal bound effort over the bar. A frustrating afternoon also saw Simeone Akinola leave the field in tears after sustaining what looked a serious injury after coming on at half time.
