Harry’s Map…. Barnet v Leyton Orient…. The Preview

It’s been 379 minutes since the Bees have conceded a goal in a run of five undefeated matches. Leyton Orient have won their last eight games in all competitions. Something has got to give.

Tuesday’s win against Aldershot virtually assures another season in the National League so Head Coach Darren Currie can concentrate on assessing his squad before the summer. That’s not to say that the boss won’t want to continue his teams impressive run but with a visit to play off contenders Eastleigh on Tuesday night he might be tempted to rotate his squad against the league leaders. One player who won’t be involved is striker Mo Bettamer who’s joined Welling United on loan, while the medical team will have to assess Harry Taylor’s dislocated fingers.

The O’s have the leagues best away defence second best away attack and in striker Macauley Bonne one of non leagues top strikers. Manager Justin Edinburgh has won 42 of his 73 games in charge and looks set to return the East London outfit to the Football League.

Leyton Orient beat the Bees 3-1 at Brisbane Road earlier in the season with Wes Fonguck on target for the visitors. The only meeting between the two at The Hive was a tepid 0-0 draw in October 2016. Hopefully with one of the biggest crowds of the season the action will be more memorable tomorrow.

We’ll have live commentary from Pete Hill at The Hive in HRB Saturday Sport.
